Judgment

Abundance has success. The king attains abundance. Be not sad. Be like the sun at midday.

Hexagram Feng represents the zenith of luminosity and the culmination of influence, vividly symbolized by the union of Thunder and Fire. It is the moment of absolute abundance where clarity meets dynamic action, creating a powerful, illuminating force. The statement "The King approaches" signifies the arrival of one's highest potential or the realization of a grand vision, moving beyond mere material gain to a state of spiritual and operational fullness. It suggests that the conditions for success have fully matured.

The counsel "Do not worry" is a profound philosophical instruction to release anxiety about the inevitable decline that follows every peak. By likening this state to the "sun at midday," the text acknowledges the transience of perfection but urges us to inhabit it completely. The sun does not fear the coming sunset; it simply shines with maximum intensity. Therefore, this hexagram is a call to embrace the present moment with courage and generosity. It asks us to project our light outward without reservation, understanding that true abundance is found in the fearless expression of one's power during the precise moment it is most needed.
